My Spring Beauty Routine

I love seeing other people’s beauty and skincare routines. One of my FAVORITE parts about blogging, is getting the opportunity to test all kinds of new products. I change up my skincare and hair routine A LOT. I have a go-to winter/cold month routine, and am switching over to my spring beauty routine! I have rounded up a few favorites that I’ve recently discovered (and some tried and true favorites), that will be on heavy rotation in my spring beauty routine!

For your hair

I am loving the Blond Absolut line from Kerastase. I love how it neutralizes the brassy tones that my hair pulls naturally, and also helps to protect my hair from heat damage. I use the shampoo and conditioner each time I wash my hair, and once a week, I use the mask for an extra boost of moisture and damage control.

I recently discovered the Volo towel. Did you know your hair is the most vulnerable when it’s wet? This towel is extra soft, and so gentle on your wet hair. It’s also super absorbent and helps cut dry time down!

When it comes to drying, I have been using a pump or two of Kerastase’s Cicaplasme Hair Serum. This works as a heat protector, while also helping damaged hair. I use the Ouai hair clips to section hair. These are my favorite hair clips, since they just slide into my hair, and don’t have “teeth” like a lot of other clips. Unfortunately, I think the only way to get them is to purchase the Three Ouai Kit – but you’ll love the dry texture foam and wave spray anyway 😉

I cannot say enough good things about the new Cura Luxe Hair Dryer from T3! It has a really neat auto censor, so you can set it down to re-position or re-clip your hair, and it will turn off, then you pick it back up, and it turns back on! Super handy for when you only have one free hand! It dries my hair so quickly, too!

For summer days spent on the boat, beach, or pool, I love to use Invisibobble hair elastics. These don’t pull out your hair, and they don’t leave a pony tail bump!

For your skin

I’m sure you’ve heard “healthy skin starts from within!” I love Hum vitamins. The Glow Sweet Glow is a great-tasting gummy that is full of Vitamin C and E, and helps will dull and uneven skin! Red Carpet is a supplement for skin, nails, and hair – I’ve been taking them for about 3 weeks now, and my nails have been growing SO fast!

I love First Aid Beauty, and the Retinol Serum is amazing. It’s a bit of a splurge. But it does wonders for fine lines and firming the face’s skin texture. I also love FAB’s Ginger & Tumeric Vitamin C Jelly Mask! It smells amazing, and feels so cool on your face. After one use, you’ll feel SO refreshed!

I love using FAB’s Coconut Micellar Makeup Remover to remove my makeup. It’s super gentle on my skin, but always gets my makeup off without drying out my skin!

I recently purchased a Jade Roller, basically because FOMO. While I’m not convinced it is taking years off of my skin, and magically making me look fabulous, it does feel amazing, so I am going to use it as part of my spring beauty routine. I like to keep it in the fridge, and use it after I use a serum or a face mask.

I recently had an aggressive chin zit, and this treatment was recommended to me. It smells SUPER strong, but it was very effective. Definitely keeping this handy for any other breakouts this spring and summer!

Masks

I love a good mask. I typically do one at home every other night, to give my skin a little extra moisture. In the winter, I look for masks that soothe and hydrate. And for my spring beauty routine, I look for extra moisture and antioxidants!

Patchology is a go-to for me for masks. I love the Resting Beach Face kit. It comes with 2 lip gels, which are SO hydrating for chapped/irritated lips. The kit also comes with 2 of their FlashMasque Soothe Sheet Masks. These help to repair damaged skin, and seriously feel SO refreshing after a day in the sun!

Heads up, your foot WILL peel after using these. But it is amazingly soft after!
