You’d think by now, I would have this whole “parenting thing” down to an art form or a science. But the most artistic thing we have going on over here is the crayon that ended up inside my kitchen cabinet. And science? Does putting all the dry dog food into the water bowl count?
It seems like new products and gear appear daily. I have so many new mom friends that come to me and ask me: “What do I really need to register for?” My go-to answer is always: a good diaper bag, a soft toy, a cute burp cloth (so at least it looks cute while your sweet baby is trashing it), and JOHNSON’S® bath and body products.
My very, very favorite JOHNSON’S® scent will forever be the BEDTIME® Baby. It smells like lavender, and it soothes me while also soothing my girls. This is a must for bedtime routines. It settles everyone down, and you can’t help but take a few deep breaths and relax! My second favorite is the HEAD-TO-TOE® Wash. I never pack a diaper bag without one of the travel-sized bottles, for those on-the-go messy surprises.
When gifting for a new mom friend, I always load up a diaper bag and take that to her shower. Who needs a gift bag, anyway, right? I fill it with all of my favorites, including one of those sleepers with the hand mittens and elastic bottoms (which are a life-saver), and OF COURSE JOHNSON’S® baby products.
