I had to laugh when my sister-in-law came to visit this weekend. She lives in Tennessee, and while we are super excited to be in the 40s this weekend, she is treating this like the scene when everything goes down in Frozen. In this scenario, she is the Duke of Weselton. when Elsa flips out on Anna and everything gets covered in ice.
We Michiganders have to fight the urge to open the sun roofs in our cars and wear light jackets this time of year (or, in my husband’s case, bust out the white flip flops!). And that is when 7am Enfant comes to the rescue! They sent us a box of goodies to try out, including their quilted Easy Cover and their Pookie Poncho.
I don’t think they had toddlers with broken legs in their minds when they came up with the design for the Pookie Poncho, but it worked perfectly for London! Since she’s in a boot, she can’t wear pants under it, and she doesn’t own anything baggy enough to go over it (and it’s totally not maxi dress season!), so we were in full-on hibernation mode until we received the Pookie Poncho! It fits strollers across the board (we tried it on our Cosatto Supa and Baby Jogger City Select!). London was wearing a sweater dress under it, and she stayed nice and warm. The Pookie Poncho comes with a zip-on toddler hood attachment that we used, but we would have just used the normal infant zip-on hood for Addy. I love products that are universal like that! London absolutely loved being in her little cocoon, and thought the hand holes were the funniest thing ever.
After belting Addy into our stroller, I slipped the Easy Cover over her, and fitted the bottom. She was wearing long pants and a sweater underneath with her June & January beanie, and she stayed nice and warm! There’s an option to roll the sleeves up, but she has issues with mittens, so I just left them long.
We were able to walk about a mile with the girls, through the neighborhood, and I got tired before they got cold (mom win!).

How fun! Love your stroller! Is it heavy?
Jenna says
It is, but it collapses SO easily – and since it’s a double, I wouldn’t say it’s SUPER heavy!

These are such a good idea! We live in the city and walk EVERYWHERE.
