This weekend was a doozy! We had our annual neighborhood Halloween Extravaganza Friday night. I’m a firm supporter in any event where the parents can have an ice, cold beer, and the kids can run amok, and no one judges you. Peyton was super into the trick-or-treating portion, which was great, since last year she was so shy, I had to go up to each house with her. This year, we played it cool and hung out on the road by the driveway as she (and 10,000 other kids) ran door-to-door. London also had a blast. Sadly, we didn’t win the family costume contest, but I’m not even mad. Seeing Dave dressed up as Tweedle Dum made my night.
Saturday, we went to the Country Club with our good friends. Peyton insisted on wearing a different costume. Heaven forbid she be photographed in the same thing twice in one weekend. I’m in the business of making dreams come true, so I scrounged up a mini Elsa costume to pair with Peyton’s favorite Anna dress. We played games, decorated cookies, and carved pumpkins. Peyton took a sharpie and drew her best rendition of a jack o’lantern, and named her Angela. We’ve had Angela lit every night since!
Sunday was football day, and although we didn’t leave the house, we still got festive.
Happy Monday!!

Haha I knew what you meant 😉 after I made him be a giant polar bear, I feel like he’s ok with everything else. Plus, Peyton loves it!
