One of the items on our Fall Bucket List was to have a picnic. I thought for sure we had missed the boat on that one, since the weather was getting cold and gross, but I was wrong! Last weekend felt more like mid-September than early November. We spent most of the weekend outside (see the whole weekend roundup here), and decided to take a hike through the woods on Sunday. There’s a trail off the road on our neighborhood, which leads to a little clearing by the river. Which would the perfect spot for a riverside picnic! I packed up my new diaper bag with some fruit, yogurt, and other snacks, and packed a bottle for Adaline in our Ju Ju Be Fuel Cell (which is amazing for its size!)
I want to share two things we learned on our “hike”. 1. The Baby Jogger is a great stroller, and made it through 4 inches of wet leaves and mud. and 2. No matter how many times you say “watch where you’re stepping” a five year old will continuously trip over rocks, stumps, herself. But we made it!
My new Kiki Lu diaper bag is buttery soft, and also the perfect size to fit diapers, wipes, the fuel cell, and a bag of snacks! And if you use the code JENNA25 you can save 25% on your order!
What a fun idea!! I bet the girls loved it!
