This blog post is called: An Easy Fall Outfit, but it could just as easily be called: Jenna’s Uniform ???? This is my go-to, regardless of the season: A good pair of jeans/shorts, a basic top, and a cardigan. Bam, you’re dressed and ready-to-go! I rock this easy fall outfit for mom life! It’s super easy to toss the cardigan on, and call myself “done up”!
If you followed along on Insta last week, you saw this photoshoot go down ???????? I ended up on a road that forked – one direction was an unmarked road, and the other had a sign that said DO NOT ENTER. Well, obviously, everything in me told me to check out the DO NOT ENTER trail. Sounded like a way better photo-op, you know?
I stumbled upon a cute little lake, and the boat launch made for the perfect viewing spot! I watched the waves for a bit – it was a little inland lake, and there were no boats out. It was so peaceful!!
That is – until the wind picked up! I lost my hat TWICE this afternoon!! This went from an easy fall outfit to a breezy fall outfit really quickly ????
Holding onto my hat for dear life haha ^^
Also, this is a PSA. These booties are SO old – like 3 years old. They’re my absolute favorite, and are SO comfy. I found them in stock in a handful of colors here – but run before they’re gone! (They run true to size!)
I couldn’t get over how blue the water looked. Something about Fall makes it look like an eternal golden hour, and the sky and waters here have been looking so blue lately! If it weren’t for the wind, I could have sat here all afternoon. Well – and the DO NOT ENTER sign ????
Typical Jenna would SO not consider this “wild”, but we have limited access to fun times thanks to 2020 ???? so this was at the top of my list for wild things I’ve done recently! Haha.
Here’s another version of my easy fall outfit, for more fall inspo!
