We’ve been having lots of festive, Halloween fun the last few weeks. I cannot believe how quickly October is flying!!
Our first order of business was decorating the house! You’ve gotta set the mood for Halloween fun, don’t you think?

Carving Pumpkins
We finally had time to carve pumpkins this weekend, and took advantage of the great weather. Sunny and 76 in October?! I will take it 👏🏻👏🏻
Also, I think everyone’a favorite part of this core memory is that these pumpkins are from the grocery store. We made it to ONE pumpkin patch this year — but at least it wasn’t raining like last year, lol!!
Addy did the most work carving pumpkins of the 3 girls… but our annual tradition where mom gets to carve pumpkins until she loses mobility in her right arm 😂 Anything for some memories, Halloween fun, and pumpkin seeds!

Jack O’Lantern World
We went to Jack O’Lantern world with friends last week. It was really cool to see thousands of pumpkins carved — they had themed displays. It was impressive. However, it was super cold and crowded, and it was one massive line, so we were in a large line of people the whole time.
Are we glad we went? Yeah! Would we go back? Ehh… unsure. 😬
Halloween Weekend Fun
While the girls are bummed they “actually have to go to school on Halloween!?” I am excited we have the whole weekend to sprinkle in some last minute Halloween fun!
Peyton’s last soccer game is Saturday, and then we have TWO Halloween parties that evening. While I am bummed that we didn’t get our acts together for a family costume this year, Dave and I have been working on a VERY fun costume that I cannot wait to share with you!!! Stay tuuuuuned!
