Although her birthday isn’t until the 31st, we went batty for Addy this weekend, and celebrated her second birthday in true Adaline form: with a vampire party. Vampirina Ballerina to be exact, with styling from Rainey’s Closet.
We kept things small, since Adaline tends to get overwhelmed with large crowds, and becomes a Stage 5 Clinger. This was perfect for her, with just her closest girlfriends. She insisted on a Taylor Swift dance session, and all the girls agreed that the highlight was the rock candy and the fabulous tutu that was waiting for each of them to change into!
Here are a few highlights from the party, and I will link all the sources below.
I made the girls each a bat wing headbands, would you be interested in a DIY? I will be sharing how I did the bat wings cupcakes later this week, too!
sequin tablecloth | spiderweb table cloth | faux fur rug | dresses and styling by rainey’s closet | cake stand | spider hanging decor | bat garland | bat cake toppers | dress rack | kids tablecloth | paper plates | napkins | sparkler candle | kids bowls | rock candy | kids favor containers

Oh my goodness, this is the sweetest! I love the theme and the bat wing headbands 🙂 So smart of you to keep the party small, as I agree kiddos that young can get super overwhelmed with all the lengthy commotion and they are just ready for a nap 😉 So much fun; she will adore her pictures in the future! My own kiddos still LOVE to go through our photo books and see their toddler party pix.

What great pics! Looks like you put a lot of effort into this cute themed party. Your daughter and all the girls are adorable. My daughter (mommy of three of my four granddaughters) loves to do theme parties, too. She has done “Frozen” parties during which the girls wore their princess dresses; and a “hungry caterpillar” party, with all the refreshments representing food items from the related book.
Oh fun! We also did a Hungry Caterpillar party – when my oldest turned one! So much fun to plan!
This party really looks like every kid’s dream 🙂 Beautifully done, it’S an art to organize something like that!
