Today is probably going to be our last day in the 70s until next spring, so we decided to make the most of it by heading to the orchard. Dave’s sister and her husband are in town; they live down south so they were eager to get in on some Michigan fall fun.
Peyton is obsessed with her Uncle Evan, and insisted on holding his hand throughout the entire orchard. They don’t have kids yet, so it’s always funny to see him try to decipher what she is saying or play princess games.
The girls are obsessed with gourds. So they each got to pick a “special gourd” from the bin in the little shop. I also came home with way too many apples, cider, half a dozen donuts, caramel corn, apple pancake mix, and an embarrassing amount of other goodies – but hey, it smelled good in there and I’m pregnant and hungry.

The girls are sufficiently wiped out from the fun this afternoon, and I have a busy afternoon of sitting with my feet up and munching on caramel corn ahead of me! Happy Thursday!!

I wish we had color like this. In Cali, we have “pumpkin patches” and hayrack rides, but nothing like a midwest or east coast fall! so jealous!!
