No secret I look for any excuse for a party, so when Dave said we could host a Super Bowl party, I went nuts with the decorations, food, and guest list. We were expecting over 30 people; unfortunately, blizzard conditions stopped abut half from making the trip. Not surprising as we live off of a “natural beauty road” [read: 1.5 lanes and a season weight limit and one of the last to get plowed. Oh, and it’s up an s-curve hill]. We actually had a neighbor who was snowed in, so he cross country skied (with his 2 year old daughter on his shoulders) to our house. I know, I’m impressed, too.
Peyton was surrounded by boys for the first quarter, and I realized I am totally a girl mom, as the boys were driving me to drink. Once our uber athletic neighbor and his daughter arrived, Peyton promptly began dressing her up in FP moccasins and tutus.
Here are a few shots of our game-time fun:
Super easy recipe found here.
All decorations were found at Target. Guessing they are either sold out (boo!) or on super sale today (yay!), so you can stock up for next year!!
What’s a Super Bowl party without Katy Perry metallic tattoos? Via Claire’s
The night was even better when I won the 2nd and 3rd quarter in our squares game! The Seahawks lost, but oh well. We were band-wagon fans after the Lions lost anyway!
We are snowed in today, so it’s movie, hot cocoa, and pillow fort time! Hope you’re all warm!!
Can i please come to one of your parties
Hahahaha 😉
