It’s no secret how much I LOVE holidays. And for some reason, the Fourth is at the top of my list. For a fun little DIY project, I painted mason jars, following instructions (loosely) from here, to make these beauties:
I accented with some twine and fake hydrangeas.
And now, a trip through my past Fourth’s with nail art:
This year, I plan on making red, white, and blue pasta (check out this recipe here), after a fabulous pancake breakfast, see the inspiration here, and then sitting on the beach for the rest of the day. Sounds pretty perfect to me!
As far as fashion, of course I’ve got that covered! For the parade, Peyton will be wearing this Gap dress (which is now on sale!), with a headband by Rolly Polly (which is sadly no long avail), and blue mocs by Freshly Picked. I will be wearing jean shorts and a plaid Express shirt, which is unavailable online, and my new, blue Goyard bag.
My other option was this piece of patriotism. Unfortunately, we didn’t purchase these. Star dress here, stripes here.
We will be keeping festive in these necklaces from Claire’s: As well as some good ol’ hair chalking, this actually smells like raspberries!
I also stumbled upon this gem of Peyton’s first Fourth, gotta love Timehop!
Stay tuned to see all these goodies in action! Hope you’re all having a great week!
I remember all your old nail art posts!! This is a fun post. I want to see what your outfit looks like for the 4th!!
