I remember being so excited when I first discovered Pinrose a few years ago. What stuck out to me most was how intentional Pinrose is. The ENTIRE shopping experience is just that: an experience! I took the quiz myself, and got Tambourine Dreamer as my scent. I already own (and love) this scent from Pinrose, so that wasn’t a huge shocker to me! The key notes of this fragrance are: Ylang-ylang, lily of the valley, and white musk. Fun fact: Ylang ylang is one of my all-time fave scents, so the science behind the quiz worked! Layering 101: Customized For You

Next comes the layering, and how to make it my own! According to Pinrose, Tambourine Dreamer layers well with Sun Saint and Wild Child. Sun Saint is another fave of mine, and is perfect for daytime. Tambourine Dreamer layered with Wild Child brings out the “night on the town” vibe!

The woman who’s not afraid to be unapologetic with her sensuality, who is as mischievous as she wants, whenever she wants. The gardenia and jasmine are naturally upbeat florals that round out with an effervescent touch of frangipani.

Layering is really cool, because it gives you the freedom to customize and tailor a fragrance blend that matches your mood, your outfit, your destination. Basically, it gives you complete freedom to express yourself! This can easily be achieved by spritzing 2-3 sprays of the base fragrance, and then 1-2 of a highlighting fragrance. Another really fun way is by using Pinrose’s Petals.

What are petals? They are single-use fragrance wipes, with the perfect dose of fragrance! (I also love to stash these in my purse/car/beach bag – the perfect way to refresh your perfume throughout the day, without worrying about carrying around/breaking a big glass bottle of perfume!)

To layer with petals, first apply the base scent, then wait a minute or so to let it dry. Then do the same with with the highlighting scent. You can put it near where you applied the base, on it, or just around it randomly. Boom. You have a new scent, unique to you!
