Did you catch London’s new bedroom or Peyton’s fun, floral-themed bedroom post? If you missed them, go read – don’t worry, I’ll wait 😉 We did a bedroom shuffle with the girls, so Peyton could have some seperation from her little sisters, and it just made more sense with the shared bathroom! Adaline is loving her new bedroom, and I wanted to give you a peek into the updates we did. So, let’s take a look at Adaline’s beachy new bedroom!
I’ll be linking everything from Adaline’s new bedroom below, but if I miss a link, let me know!
We went with a beachy theme, inspired by the colors in some of the pieces we already had. We used her toddler bed and furniture – it was a little pricey, but the quality is amazing, and I wasn’t ready for her to have a big girl bed yet! You also may recognize the same painting from her room, as well as her Kroma Carpets rug – it’s faux fur, super soft, and WASHABLE.
The Closet
I loved that we had mini walk-in closets installed when we built! Adaline’s is fairly empty now, but I love using the open shelves as little display areas. The ceramic bear bank was made by my grandmother when I was little, and the red flowers are leis from my parents’ recent trip to Hawaii!
The Beachy Gallery Wall
I think I am most excited about her little gallery wall, which we will keep adding to! I wanted to bring the whole space together, and use the same colors from the decor we already had. I loved mixing up the sizes and textures of the pieces, and accenting with some gold frames!
The talented Hayley Kolar custom painted that rainbow for her room, and I swoon every time I see it! We also worked with a sweet local shop to custom design that cute sunshine. I had spent WEEKS looking for a cute round thing to hang, I wanted to mix up the shapes, and I got my heart set on a sun, but couldn’t find one. I am SO happy with how that little sunshine turned out!
Originally, the pink wooden rainbow was going to be in London’s room, but I loved how it fit in Adaline’s beachy new bedroom! The “hello” speech bubble is from the same shop – so cute, right?
