If you caught London’s new bedroom post, then you know we played a game of Musical Bedrooms last month! With Peyton getting older, and with Addy and Lo being so close in age, it made sense for the younger girls to have the shared bathroom, and to give Peyton some privacy on the other end of the house! Safe to say she is loving life in her new floral-themed bedroom!

The Wallpaper
We worked with Rocky Mountain Wall Decals for the floral statement wall. Since this room has one window – and it’s in a window-well, I really wanted to brighten up the space. Peyton chose this Vintage Floral wallpaper, which set the tone for this floral-themed bedroom! Once that was selected, the rest of the room decor fell into place! The ordering process was awesome, we measured the wall, and sent the dimensions over to Rocky Mountain Wall Decals.
Installation wasn’t the easiest thing, but it wasn’t awful. It was definitely a two-person job. Dave started at the top, and I unrolled as he pressed down. The cool thing about this wallpaper is that it’s actually wall decals. We were able to lift and reposition if we had a mistake or a big air bubble. Getting the pattern to line up we probably the toughest part, but now that it is done, we LOVE it! The girls had a sleepover in Addy’s room the night we were doing it, and when Peyton woke up, and saw her floral wall, she was over the moon excited.
We had some extra paper, and I got crazy and cut out individual flowers from the background, and added them to the bulkhead in Peyton’s room. It was tedious work, but I love the effect!
Bedding
We LOVE Beddy’s Beds. With the way Peyton’s bed is, she would have to make her bed perfectly (like, with hospital corners) everyday or else it would look sloppy. Obviously, that’s not going to happen, so Beddy’s is the next best option! It’s like a fitted sheet and a sleeping bag all-in-one, lined with the softest-ever minky lining!
