Our Living Room Update with Bernhardt

If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you may have noticed some InstaStories of us moving all the furniture and a biiiiig delivery truck in our driveway last week! Well! We are excited to finally spill the beans – we updated our living room in partnership with Bernhardt!

We weren’t rough on the old furniture, per-say, but in the last 5 years, our family grew by 2 kids and a puppy! It was time for an update. The girls have claim over the downstairs with the playroom. Dave and I were craving a space for us – a space that felt like a retreat, that was clean and tidy. You know, a space that was ready for entertaining! We instantly fell in love with the unique, modern pieces at Bernhardt. The bonus was the countless fabric options, so we could make the space fit our style effortlessly.

We started with a smaller area rug, and then switched the positioning of the pieces in the room around. Our goal was to make it more of a sitting area. You can scroll through the photos of our living room update with Bernhardt below, and shop our pieces here.

We had a round fabric ottoman in the space previously, and that worked well with 2 toddlers learning to walk/pull themselves up on things. However, I have been daydreaming about the day when we would have a wood table in the space. We selected the Profile Cocktail Table. When we found the Profile Cocktail table, we knew it was perfect, since we loved the idea of sticking with the round shape. Its base is also wrapped in gold-plated brass, which has received a compliment from everyone who has seen the space!

We couldn’t be happier with how the space came together! The fabric we chose for the two Lance Chairs adds the perfect pop of texture. It also ties in all the blue and green accents on the fireplace wall. Dave said the Noah Sofa we selected was “even comfier than it looked online”, and I have to agree! I think the girls do, too 😉
