I finally have some time to sit down and do a post about London’s 4th Birthday Party! She is so funny, and definitely knows what she wants – in this case, it was a Treasure Party. We narrowed it down to a deserted island where some pirates had hidden their treasure. The party was complete with a treasure hunt!
I am linking all the sources at the bottom of this post!
For the backdrop, we hung fishing nets, and cut leis to make mini garlands. I used seashells from our Florida trip as table scatter.
London insisted on “an ocean cake that is half pink and half sprinkles, with blue ocean frosting.” A tough order. But a huge change from last year, when she refused to eat cake altogether, and I had to get creative with cookies!
The treasure hunt lead to a piñata, full of pirate treasures, and we had table settings from our friends at Replay Recycled for the kids to take home at the end of the party. We love the new stack stack lids!
For a craft, we had the kids make cute little sand art necklaces. I found sea shells ones that were perfect with our beachy theme. I ordered extra after reading reviews that some arrived cracked and they easily broke, but we didn’t have a single issue!
Also! One of the highlights from the party was the sign we had from Card My Yard GR! If you’re local, save with code GR10OFF (10 OFF)! It was so cool. They came and set everything up the night before, and picked up the morning after the party – and everyone who attended the party commented on it! Such a unique touch, and London was over the moon!
