Friday Fun & Prepping for Vacation

I shared a peek at our family photos in an earlier post, and mentioned I had already ordered some canvas prints. Well. They arrived, and Dave had time today to hang the big one. I couldn’t be more obsessed with how it completed the look of this nook: canvas print | similar planter stands | plants

I’ve been planning and planning for this trip like a madwoman for the past months, and I am so excited to launch our magnificent flock of inflatables! You might remember the swan from last year, but we have added a flamingo and a rose gold flamingo! We also are planning another fabulous family music video – you can see last year’s video here!

I am also so excited for our new rash guards. SwimZip sent us a few to try out, and we couldn’t be more obsessed.  Anytime I don’t have to sacrifice fashion for functionality, I am sold. I think the girls are, too. I had the hardest time packing this morning, since Peyton and London kept running around in their rash guards.

David finally bought his Yeti cooler (to match his koozie) that he has been obsessing over all summer. His excuse was “it’s for vacation” – but I can only eye roll a little, on account of I just had to have this water bottle, a new swimsuit, and some new flip flops for our trip.

I also scored this dress today at American Eagle, and plan on wearing it tonight – it’s so cute and so airy.

And, last but not least, since I’m assuming it’ll rain on us one day at the cottage, I grabbed a few new books for the girls: Dragons Love Tacos, This is Sadie, and The Most Magnificent Thing.
