Summer seems to come and go so quickly. Crazy to think that in a little over a month, we will be getting Peyton ready for her first days of kindergarten. We have been talking about ways to make this summer a memorable one! My family sold our cottage up north. It was time, but that doesn’t make it any less sad; I had been going up since I was little, and it was so fun to watch the girls enjoy it as much as I did/still do. ANYWAY. David must have noticed how bummed I was, and decided to rent us a cottage for a week, on the big lake nearby! It’s not the old, family cottage, but it’ll do 😉 We will be inviting our parents, and siblings and friends, and making it a big week-long, fun vacation (and of course, we will be shooting the annual family music video!!)
As far as the rest of summer, Peyton and I made a Summer To Do List, to chart our summer plans: 
This past weekend knocked off watching fireworks, lighting sparklers, and sleeping late! Peyton is having so much fun helping me fill in the squares for the activities we have done.
…which makes me think I should make room for “sleep late” a few more times!!
