I am officially full-term, which means this baby can come at any minute! Although, if she is anything like her sisters, she’ll come exactly on her due date. I have prompt babies.
I had my 37 week appointment today (which is actually 36 weeks and 6 days, but close enough!), and since I am still measuring at 30 weeks, had an ultrasound. Actually, they referred to it as an “emergency ultrasound” which is not a word to casually toss around a pregnant woman! My doctor wanted to check fluid levels as well as baby’s measurements. Happy to report that everything is looking good! Baby girl is weighing in at 5 lbs right now, so I am on track to have another little baby – no complaints there!!

37 weeks, and not even a little bit dilated. I feel like my bladder is the size of a quarter, and my belly is the size of one of those REALLY expensive pumpkins. I am GBS positive (again). Fortunately, no swelling (knock on all the wood), and no back pain. I am, however, constantly being kicked and jabbed by this super active baby girl. I am in hardcore nesting mode. I am anxious. I am eating like a truck driver. And beyond excited to meet this little baby. Despite all these #pregnancyproblems, life is good.
Oh, and the upside of having an “emergency ultrasound”? Seeing baby girl’s sweet cheeks!

You look amazing! I was never gbs positive. Were you both other pregnancies? If you don’t mind me asking!!

I was with London! But we didn’t have time to get the IV in, since she came so fast! We had to stay and extra day for observation – she was perfectly fine 🙂

You do look tiny! 30 weeks? That’s crazy! Glad everything with the baby is ok!!

It sounds crazy, doesn’t it?? But if my OB isn’t worried, I’m not gonna add that to my pile of worries!!
