Another weekend, another wedding! Thankfully, it’s the last time I will be wearing a formal dress and standing in front of a large crowd giving a speech, after being on my [swollen] feet before giving birth! (I love my friends, but mama needs to sit!!)
This wedding was across the state, and I managed to make the 2 hour drive not swelling; I saved all that sexiness for the day of the wedding. And oddly enough, my left ankle bone was visible, whilst my right one became a cankle. I must stand weird? The venue for the wedding was gorgeous, and the reception was even prettier. Here are a few snaps:
My baby bump – thankfully the long dress hid my watermelon cankle!
Hubs and I, post-wedding and pre-party bus. Coincidentally, party buses are NOT as much fun when you’re 37 weeks pregnant. Who knew?
Every newlywed couple should have a sign like this!
Dress: Target, Chalkboard: MXOWoodWorking
In other news, I am officially full-term! Baby Lo can come ANYTIME.
Oh, and I realized (in my pregnant-induced forgetfulness) that I never posted Pey’s photo from her first day of pre-school:
Dress: Old Navy, Lunch Box: Thirty-One, Shoes: Freshly Picked, Backpack: Crewcuts
She is obsessed with school, and keeps talking about her new best friend. Which is the cutest thing ever. We managed to get through our first morning drop-off tear free. A huge accomplishment on both parts, I think! And we made it the first week without bringing home any colds! (Kids are SO germy!)
Gearing up for my birthday this weekend – Pey spilled the beans that she bought me “a kitty, a pink giraffe, a blue giraffe, a lion, and a BIG bear” which will, according to her, sleep in bed with me, and eat the food she has in her room. I checked – no secret stashes of food underneath her bed 😉 But who knows what Dave and P have planned for me!! I turn into a total girl over my birthday, but have the hardest time not hijacking plans, being the party-obsessed-planner that I am!
I hope you all are having a fantastic Monday!!
You look stunning! Pregnancy suits you!
Blushing! XO
You dress your daughter so cute! I love your chalkboards, too. It’s like little baby Gavin! But she didn’t keep doing them!
Thank you!!
Your daughter is adorable
