We had a very, very busy Labor Day weekend. Filled with a Mickey-themed birthday party, boat rides down the river, chasing London around as she’s toddling from place to place, ice cream runs, and lots of fun in between. September is my favorite month. Maybe because it’s my birthday month? After Labor Day, the world seems to set into an autumn-vibe, even though it’s technically still summer. Pumpkin-flavored everything comes out. I might be the only white girl in America who doesn’t like the Pumpkin Spice Latte, but what’s up Pumpkin Chai?! I’ve been lighting fall-scented candles and hoping it’ll bring some cooler weather our way! But! Before I go all “fall fun” on you, here are a few shots from our VERY hot, VERY summery weekend!

The Mickey and Minnie birthday party was a blast, and Peyton absolutely loved Minnie, although she pulled me aside and whispered, “I know it’s not a big mouse, because I can see a girl inside!” I don’t think she’ll be fooled by Santa this year! However, the party vibe was killed when the birthday boy fell in a bounce house and broke his leg (the bone under the knee – ouch!), and was taken to the ER. He’s doing fine!! Peyton was VERY concerned, it was adorable…until she asked if she could have his presents since he was at the doctor’s office. Kids.
And yes – Lo is officially walking! Yay! She still finds crawling faster and more efficient, but will walk for food. Big girl!!
Also, above, I am wearing some jewelry from RocksBox! I am absolutely obsessed (read more about it here), but if you want to try it out, you can get a month free by using my code HEYITSJENNAXOXO 🙂
The toddle stand (as i call it) is my favorite stage! They’re so cute and wobbly. And they’re so short. Like, very tiny humans. Ok. I need to have another baby.
Get on it!!!!
Love your braid!!
Thanks girl! If you YouTube amberfillerup front row braid, you’ll find a tutorial 🙂
