Our Patio Update

Living in Michigan gives you a major appreciation for the warm, summer months (I blame Lake Effect Snow, if you know, you know). We knew we wanted to make the most of our outdoor space when we built our home, and had huge plans for our patio… which never really happened. We made do with patio furniture from our old house, and never really fell in love with anything else… until we were on the hunt for chairs to go around the fire pit, and discovered .

We are excited to announce our partnership with and over-the-freaking-moon excited to reveal our patio update! We instantly fell in love with the when we saw it – this was the one. 

With the idea of making the most of the space, and enjoy nature, we opted to have our seating face the waterfall. We do have an outdoor TV mounted on the wall, but wanted to shift the focus on entertaining and enjoying nature.

With the built-in side tables, is perfect for BBQs, drinks, and dining!

My favorite part about Loll is the sleek, modern look. However, we ultimately made our first Loll purchase based on the fact that this furniture all-weather. In Michigan, when we get weather, we get weather. Extreme sunshine and heavy snow has destroyed numerous wicker patio pieces for us! Loll’s furniture and accessories are made with recycled plastic – mostly from single­-use milk jug, and are proudly crafted in the USA!

Dave also found this cool chess set, and had this dream of a “chess nook”. I figured it would be more for Dave, but I am happily surprised daily to see the girls and their friends out back day-after-day, playing chess out there!

I think it’s used so much because of the accessibility! These are the perfect kid-friendly size – without actually being designed for a child, so they won’t ever be outgrown! Bonus ???? The made the perfect “game table”! 

We also have an issue with outdoor storage, and were really excited to see that Loll has more than just seating and dining options offers storage space for our yard games, the outdoor dog bowls, and even Barbie and her friends!
