Pool Day Faves

Between the girls’ swim lessons, we’ve been living at the pool this summer. I found that what we pack for a day on the boat or at the beach varies slightly from what I find myself packing for the pool, so I am sharing my pool day faves with you today!

Sun Safety

First up, you gotta protect your skin! I always have my COOLA with me, when I know I’m gonna be out in the sun. You can see a round up of my COOLA must haves here. My go-to products are the SPF 30 sunscreen. That bottle will last forever, too! I love the Sun Silk Drops, I apply those as a primer in the morning before we go. My face never gets greasy, oily, OR sunburned! Finally, I always grab a COOLA Mineral Liplux – they add a subtle hint of color, while protecting your lips.

I always bring a hat along, too. Anything to help keep the sun off my face!

And, since my face stays out of the sun, I have been using these Isle of Paradise tanning drops. They’re the first self tanner I haven’t turned into a streaky orange monster with, so that’s VERY exciting! I add 3 drops in with my moisturizer at night, and apply to a clean face. I wake up in the morning with a sunkissed glow! (make sure you wash your hands off well, and get ALL the way to the hairline!!)

Snacks

I am a big fan of taking snacks where ever I go! I typically have a KIND Bar or two in my bag at all times. My go-to drink this summer has been Truly. The Black Cherry and the new Passion Fruit are so refreshing and definitely one of my pool day faves!

Beauty

I don’t typically get all dolled up for a day at the pool, but I never leave the house without applying my First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Smoothie Primer. It smells amazing, and evens out my skin tone, while also hydrating. This little tube DOES IT ALL. I’ve been wearing it alone all summer for a natural look.

I mentioned above my COOLA Mineral Liplux is my go-to lip color and definitely one of my pool day faves!

I jumped on the bandwagon and tried TULA. I can see what all the fuss is about. This Glow and Get It Eye Balm is super refreshing, and feels cool on application.

After Sun

After sun care is just as important as sun care! After a long day spent poolside, I like to pamper my skin! Before doing one of my favorite sheet masks, I like to get a “clean slate”. First Aid Beauty just released their new eye makeup remover, and it’s SO good. It’s super gentle on my skin, but my favorite part is that it actually nourishes your eyelashes and brows, too!

Once my makeup is off, I like to do a Patchology Sheet Mask. They’re like a little treat for my face, and keeps my skin nice and hydrated!
