Summer So Far

I feel like I have been the world’s worst blogger this summer. I’ll be better, promise 😉 We have been keeping busy with summer activities/fun, I thought I would give you a little round up of our summer so far!

Our last few weeks have looked like this: lazy mornings, followed by the rush to get everyone in swimsuits to get Peyton to swim class at 12:30, while the little girls and I play in the kiddie pool. They we eat lunch at the club, and swim some more. Except on Thursdays, when Peyton has her golf lesson right before swim. I think on Thursday my head just spins and I never stop moving. Our afternoons have been pretty lazy. It’s been ridiculously hot. We bought this blow up pool, and have been spending any time outside in that.

David has finished up a ton of projects around the yard, which allowed us to finish planting the garden. So happy with how it is turning out. I’ll share an update when it’s all done!

Our weekends have been spent with good friends at the beach or on the riverside, bon fires, and keeping the girls up way past their bedtimes.

The rest of our summer is going to be just as busy. Dave is playing in a few more golf tournaments, we will be finishing those yard projects, we have a fun trip planned to a waterpark next month, and as much time spent soaking up the sun as we can fit in!!
