Peyton is officially a 1st grader!! She said that the kindergarteners getting on the bus were “so little”, and when I told her that was her just last year, she laughed and said, “but mom, that was at the start of the year, then there was the end of the year, and now this is the start of a whole new year!” 🙂 My big girl!
She’s very excited, because she has a handful of friends from the neighborhood in her classroom, and a few girls she knew from preschool and her class last year, and is really looking forward to meeting new friends.
We spent all day yesterday out on the lake, so I was worried how our morning would go, but it was as smooth as waking up around 7,and having 3 kids dressed and in the car before 8 could go 😉
Despite the rainy start, Peyton was all smiles at the bus stop! And she picked out her own outfit!
And now, I just have to wait until the end of the day to hear all about it!!
