Why and Whale Box Review

I am so excited to share this subscription box review with you today! You know we are big fans of surprise monthly boxes, and the Why and Whale Box did not disappoint. This Why and Whale Monthly Surprise Pack has a very modern feel, and the theme for this month was donuts – so fun, right?

Each box includes a combination of apparel items, kids decor, activities, accessories, a toy or a game, valued over $59, with an awesome list of 200+ brands! The best part? The box comes with a sheet that has coupon codes to the shops included, so if you love something, you can snag more at a discount! You can also shop separate items from the box here.

Let’s get to the fun! What was in our box?!

First, we had a fun Hello Apparel tee for Peyton. We have loved this brand since Peyton was little, and continue to be impressed by how soft and fun the tees are! The icing on the cake (or the sprinkles on the donut – hah!) is that this was an exclusive collaboration – so, only the coolest kids around will have this tee 😉

Next up, was a super cute donut necklace by November Oak. The girls have a major accessory collection, and this fit right in. I love that this has a breakaway clasp, so there are no “why won’t this fit over my head” struggles.

London has already adopted the TurtlesTiaras peg doll as her new baby, and has been carrying it around whenever we are inside. If you head to her Etsy shop, you can find all of your favorite Disney Princesses (I might need this Anna and Elsa set for London!)

I think the girls were the most excited about the ZDough. If you’re not familiar with ZDough, it’s scented play dough that is made with household ingredients and natural colors. They use spices, essential oils, and other baking ingredients to take the sensory experience of playing with play dough to the next level! Ours is wintergreen, and it smells SO GOOD. We will definitely be snagging some other colors/scents!

Our box also had a fun art print from Hi Kids Co and Facial Cream from Urban Oreganics. You know I am a big Urban Oreganics fan, so this was such a fun surprise for me! Urban Oreganics uses 100% natural products, and this Facial Cream is made with green tea to wake your skin up in the morning!!

You can purchase the box on a month-to-month basis for $59/month, as well as on a 3 month or 6 month prepay plan (like most subscription box services, you’ll save a few bucks the longer you prepay!)

I definitely give #mysurprisepack two thumbs up! I love that there was a solid mix of product for the girls ages, as well as a little something for me. I always struggle with subscription boxes that don’t span ages well. Most subscripton boxes are either geared toward bigger kids, like Peyton who is 6, or super toddler-oriented, which is great for London and Adaline… but Why and Whale hits the nail on the head with all three girls!
