Did you catch my post a week or so ago with a giant round-up of goodies for the girls’ Easter baskets? (click here if you missed it!) Well, I am back today to bring you a few egg-filler ideas that are outside of the traditional candy option! I know we all fight the good fight against character-covered bedsheets, backpacks, t-shirts, and the list could go on and on, but I do love how excited the girls get about their favorite characters, so adding a few surprises in their Easter baskets has me SO excited to play Easter Bunny this year!
I know my girls cannot be the only ones obsessed with blind bags! I swear, Peyton could sit for hours and watch videos of blind bags being opened on her iPad. Bonus? These Trolls bags can easily be folded up to fit inside of a plastic egg! I know Adaline will FLIP when she finds this FurReal Friends kitty in her basket! She is so in love with our dogs, but they definitely don’t stay still for all of her love 😉
London has a hardcore Beauty and the Beast obsession right now, and I am taking Peyton to see the movie tonight (it’s a toss up who is more excited about that). I will be opening up these Beauty and the Beast character packs, and putting each mini-figure into an egg! I am so excited to see the girls opening all their eggs to find the whole cast of characters! If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you know Moana is a HUGE hit with our family, so naturally, we have to stash her somewhere in the baskets! Target sells bigger-sized plastic eggs, so you can fit this Moana and Hei Hei set into eggs, too!
These Buntoppers are also a fun option, and will fit into the bigger-sized eggs! I know Peyton will have a blast wearing them to school!
I would love to hear what you all are hiding in your eggs this year, other than candy!! 🙂
