December Fun

Is it just me, or was this seriously one of the fastest months EVER? I feel like it was Thanksgiving, and then I blinked, and here we are. This will be Adaline’s First Christmas, and we are keeping things festive around here. Here is a glimpse into our December fun:  ^ this hoodie jumper from June & January looks SO comfy, and that Stella and Lu blanket is the softest thing in the world.The girls have been living in their festive headbands from Beck and Belle, and we’ve been shuffling between The Grinch and Elf (which are the girls’ favorite movies right now). I only forgot to move the Elf on the Shelf ONCE, which really was a Christmas miracle. We have made more cookies than I can count, and earlier this week, we loaded the girls up in their pajamas, and took a drive through a really fun Christmas light display. I thought being a kid during Christmas was the best, but I really think it’s having kids during this season that takes the cake!

We are in hardcore prep for the weekend. We are heading to a big family party on Christmas Eve, and then hosting on Christmas Day. I will also be cooking crab legs for the first time ever, so say a little Christmas prayer that I don’t ruin Christmas dinner?!
