Well, Halloween has come and gone. It’s a little bittersweet nearing the winter holidays, since they’re our last first holidays with Adaline!! But we are making sure we go big for her 😉 We attended our neighborhood Halloween party on Friday night, then hosted our football party Saturday, went truck-or-treating with the girls on Sunday, and headed to our friends’ house last night to celebrate. After spending the last two months begging to be a pterodactyl, Peyton decided Friday night that she hated her costume – go figure. Which meant I scrambled for the rest of the weekend. At least we got one night with the family costume I had planned!! We converted the wagon into a raptor pen, and spent the evening dodging dinosaur attacks, as Jurassic World!
I hope you all had a fun, festive, and safe Halloween!! And, after you’ve “checked all your kids’ candy to make sure it’s safe” (read: eaten the good stuff), head over here to see some good Halloween candy and wine pairings – Happy Tuesday!!

hi!! We used our wagon, and I found some really thin plastic pvc pipe. The PVC i found was actually the same width as the holes in the wagon (we used to have a canopy for it!), so I put those in the holes, and wrapped black mesh net (look in camping supplies or on amazon!) around the posts. I had 3 section attachments (unsure of the actual word for this piece? a joint?) for the PVC pipe, that I used to make the top corners/joints. Then, I took black electrical tape, and wove it around the PVC on the sides and along the top and through the net to secure them together. The sign was on etsy or amazon! If that makes sense? Definitely a labor of love!!
