In my recap of London’s birthday party, I mentioned we had the kids stuff and create their own stuffed animals during the party. It was such a fun way to get all the kiddos together, and wind down a bit before cake time. They also made the best party favor!
Par-T-Pets(TM) sent me a fun assortment of pets, shirts, decorating markers, and even a special sleeping bag for our birthday girls’ new pet! We had the kids line up from youngest to oldest, and choose which pet they wanted to take home. Since most of the kids at the party were younger (as in, 3 or younger!), they needed some help from mom or dad for the actual stuffing part. Once everyone had their animals to the desired stuffiness (is that a word? It is today!), we made a wish on the special wishing stars, added them into the pets, and sealed them up. Then, we set off decorating the shirts. I think this was everybody’s favorite part. Par-T-Pets(TM) even included some adoption certificates in our package, so each kid could name their new pet. London named hers Minnie, and has been carrying her around since Saturday! (Adoption certificates are also available to print here). Even my parents got into it and made a pet “for Adaline” which somehow ended up in their bag to take home 😉
^Peyton was having so much fun making one for herself, and one for Adaline!
