We had one of the busiest weekends we’ve had in a while! Saturday morning, we woke up early to take our posse to soccer. Peyton’s team got another win, and London spent the majority of the game sprinting onto the field, while yelling, “BALL!” Once it warmed up, we met up with some friends for an ice cream date. Peyton got Superman and Lo got vanilla; halfway through, they traded. It was adorable. Then we headed to one of Peyton’s school friends’ houses on the river, and played in the sunshine! Despite everyone being sufficiently tired, P begged to sleep in Lo’s room. It was their first “sleepover” and they actually slept! Calling that one a win.
Sunday, we headed out to get flowers for the planters on the patio. Based on Peyton’s excitement level when we walked in the shop, her little heart isn’t ready for Disney yet! She was running from aisle to aisle, smelling the flowers and yelling about which were her favorites. One of her little girlfriends came over for a playdate while David and I potted all the flowers. We ended the night with a bon fire, and drinks on the patio once all the girls went to bed.
Monday definitely came entirely too soon!!
^ We put Grandpa on “keeping Lo off the field” duty!
^baby date! Ad clearly wanted in on the ice cream! ^Lo’s new BFF, Zeke. He’s a bull mastiff, and she wasn’t even the tiniest bit afraid of him! She was hand-feeding him goldfish crackers, and he was being so gentle. heavily contemplated dog-napping him 😉
