Finally. A snowy weekend! As Michiganders, we are used to snowy, snowy winters. In fact, last November, we were buried under record snow. This year, however, it’s been flurries that don’t stick, followed by freezing rain. Not ideal weather for playing outside. But FINALLY: snow! (nothing like the east coast has – we have about 4 inches, but that is plenty for Peyton!)
We busted out the sled, and I was able to pull the girls around the front yard a whole 5 minutes before getting winded #pregnancyproblems, but I don’t think they minded.
Once we were pink-cheeked and cold, it was time to come in. Which worked out perfectly with little sis’ nap time. Peyton and I kept the party going by making snow ice cream! We use this recipe – and it’s so easy and so fun (just make sure you have fresh, clean snow!!!)sources:
my hat | my mittens (on super sale!!) | peyton’s coat | snow pants | similar boots | hat is old from baby gap | london’s coat | snow pants | boots | hat is old from crewcuts | peyton’s striped dress | pink hair clip | bowl
Stay warm today!!
Your girls are so cute! Question. did you buy thw snowsuits in sets? the ones you linked havea coat with them?
I did buy them in sets! Peytons is last year’s set and the coat no longer fits, but the pants do!
Looks loke fun!! We don’t have any here 🙁
We had a blast!!
oh what fun! 🙂
