This morning, we bundled up and headed out to the local Santa Claus parade. Peyton was beside herself with excitement, and was counting all the Santa hats people on the street were wearing. London was excited, too, probably because P was bouncing off the walls.
There were fire engines, music, lots of candy being thrown our way. All in all, we had a blast! Here are some photos from our morning:
Peyton’s only disappointment was that we didn’t have giant balloons like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. Mom of the year also forgot a bag to put P’s parade candy in, so I told her she could use my purse. I had no idea how much candy she was going to be collecting, and as you can see…my purse was literally full of candy.
I broke down and finally bought a maternity coat. I had been avoiding it, since it seemed like a big purchase, and I wouldn’t need it all winter, but upon realizing that NONE of my coats close, and we live in Michigan, I cracked. This coat is amazing. I love the gold zipper detail, and the fit is extremely flattering for a preggo belly. And at $80, it’s not entirely awful for a winter coat (and it’s actually warm!!)

We are headed to our friends’ annual Ugly Sweater party tonight, and brunch with Santa tomorrow! Excited for a festive and holly, jolly weekend! 🙂
Peyton looks so much like you in the pic of just you two! Looks like a fun way to spend your morning 🙂
Awe thank you so much!!
Peyton’s excitement is so genuine! I love it!
She was over the moon to see Santa!
Christmas really is the most wonderful time of the year – thankfully we have kids to share in the magic 🙂
You always go all out for holidays – i love it!
