Roses are definitely having a moment this season, and with good reason. Roses are full of antioxidants and have lots of moisturizing benefits. Pixi Beauty is harnessing the power of the rose in their new Rose Remedy Face Mask.
Pixi just launched the Rose Remedy Face Mask, and to celebrate, I was invited to learn all about the new mask in a fun Master Class. Along with the Rose Remedy Face Mask, we played around with a few other products from the Rose Skintreats line.
The Rose Remedy Face Mask
Now, I am not the biggest fan of the overwhelming perfumey rose fragrance many products can have, but I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed this line had a very faint, light rose fragrance. The first thing I noticed about this mask is that it is more of a jelly than a standard mask. It’s most similar to a hydrogel sheet mask, but I loved having more control during application. Most sheet masks don’t fit my face right, so this was a major bonus!
This Face Mask comes with a little spatula to use for application, which was very handy. The mask is SO cooling. Immediately upon application, my face just felt more relaxed and hydrated. This mask is a blend of roses, argan oil, cica and tumeric for the ultimate in refreshing and nourishing hydration. I have pretty sensitive skin, and I do feel a little tingle that is typical for me with turmeric, but the mask is so cooling, that it doesn’t bother me.
Look at that texture!! I also love that this is a MASSIVE tub. I really don’t need a ton of product to fully cover my face, so I know this tub will last me a while!
More Rose Fun
Pixi Beauty also has a collection that plays well with the new Rose Remedy Face Mask: the +Rose Skintreats collection! You can see a few of my favorites from the line here:
My absolute favorite is the new Rose Lip Nourisher, which is a slightly tinted lip balm. It’s super hydrating and not sticky at all! The secret is the super nourishing “core” of this lip balm – it’s rose-infused!
Another new fave is this +Rose Glow-y Powder! I love the subtle sheen, and how well it blends into my skin. In our Master Class, I learned you can start with a drop of the +Rose Essence Oil, and blend that in with the Glow-y Powder and you get a creamier highlighter! Cool hack, huh?
I like adding a dap of this on my cheekbones and down my nose for a dewy, fresh look!
