In true “girl mom” fashion, I am all about dress ups! Princesses, fairies, pirates, mermaids, you name it! You know the one drawback from the super cute princess costumes? GLITTER. Glitter may be the bane of David’s existence. I can see a little bit of him die on the inside whenever the girls plop down in a glitter-covered gown on the charcoal couch. And can we talk about washing those dress?! I’m pretty sure it’s impossible. We have a spaghetti sauce stained Elsa dress that will never be the same.
And then I found Little Adventures. Literally, the answer to all of our dress-up woes. They are glitter-free and washable. Let me say that part again: glitter-free and washable. I pulled up the website, and let the girls pick out their own dresses. It was so fun to see who they chose. Not surprising, London picked the Scandinavian princess coronation dress, and Peyton picked the mermaid day dress. They both agreed on the Beauty dress for Adaline (who is a big fan of Beauty and the Beast)!

So far, these dresses have held up through a flower-picking excursion, some fun in the sprinklers, soccer, multiple snack times, dinner, and TWO washes. And they survived.
You can head over to my Instagram (@heyitsjenna) and enter for a chance to win $60 shop credit at Little Adventures (that’s two princess dresses or a handful of boy “adventure” costumes!). If you have kids that like to dress up and are big into pretend play, then Little Adventures needs to be on your radar!
