Happy Monday! It’s about 60 degrees and raining here – does this count as December?? I still have my fingers crossed for a white Christmas, but it’s not looking good for my team 🙁
We had a VERY busy weekend. We started out with Peyton’s school Christmas program. I made her a puppet costume, since the theme was Adventures in Toyland. She was obsessed with it, and wore it for the majority of the weekend. I was so proud of her, she sang into the microphone during the puppet solo SO much louder than the other puppets, and she danced her little heart out. She might have a career on the stage if she keeps this up!
Saturday was the annual holiday party at our favorite store, complete with reindeer and Santa Claus. Of course, the girls were both completely unimpressed with the two reindeer (Sven and Joy, who were adorable). They also took professional Santa photos, with the promise to email them to us, so I didn’t take photos. Kicking myself today for not, since we haven’t gotten the email. Peyton panicked, and whispered to me what to tell Santa, and London wasn’t having any of it. ‘Tis the season.
My best friend came into town to celebrate her birthday in the best way: with Christmas Jammies! We drank hot cocoa and sang along with Moulin Rouge, and had lots of fun with some photo props from Target and a selfie stick!
mocs | tights | london’s socks
my scarf | peyton’s dress and leggings are old from old navy, similar dress here | her bow | london’s dress
And with that, Lo’s nap is over! Enjoy the rest of your Monday!
