Daylight Savings Time is So awesome when you’re in college. When you’re a parent of two little monsters who don’t get the memo? Sucks. However, I love “springing forward”, it made our usual 6:30am wake up call a 7:30am wake up call, and we only had a few tears at bedtime! I’ll call that a win!
Yesterday, we hit the 40s for the first time since December, which was phenomenal. I was actually willing to take Lo outside to play with P!
It’s sooooo amazing as a parent to watch Peyton go from scribbling colors and basic shapes (circles and lines) last summer, to writing her name, Lo’s name, and actually drawing pictures. Like her adorable rainbow above!
This was also one of our first chances to really use the Bugaboo! We absolutely love it. We had the bassinet for London when she was a newborn, which we used a few times outside before winter got real. It’s not the easiest to put together, or disassemble. This is why we keep the men around, right?
We woke up this morning to our water pump making a horrible noise, and shooting messes of water ALL. OVER. DOWNSTAIRS. So it’s been a fun day of lifting carpeting and playing ring-around-the-rosie with fans, trying to dry everything out.
Lots of fun. Hope your Tuesday is a little dryer than ours!
