I mentioned this past weekend was my birthday (insert cake emoji here), and like most parties, I like to go all out. Peyton and I started the weekend off Saturday morning with making a neapolitan layer cake (mix here). The inside of the cake looked like a Pinterist #nailedit photo, but the outside looked cute, it tasted great, and Peyton had so much fun helping!
And it looked even cuter on my Oh Joy! For Target cake stand. And how cute are these candles?
We had some friends over Saturday night, who share September birthdays, which turned into Peyton and their daughter running laps around the couch, getting glitter glue literally everywhere, eating cake and pizza, and having an overall fantastic time.
Husband also won the Husband of The Year Award with this adorable bouquet and about 20 pounds worth of candy. YOLO. (Peyton promptly stole my balloon, and it is currently living in her closet. Oh, toddlers.)
If you follow me on instagram (@peytons_closet), then you already saw this post. yay shoes! I cannot wait to get this baby out of me, so I can wear these shoes without swelling up!!
And the best way to celebrate birthdays? Morning coffee with a good friend and Peyton downtown, I love this snap she took of us:
Peyton was super excited for her “coffee” [hot chocolate]. Also: obsessing over H&M right now. Get my cardigan, tank, and jeans.
Thanks for catching up with me!
Happy birthday!!!!
Thanks!!
Hope you had a great birthday!
