Summer break is just around the corner — can you believe it? Rock Painting and Stepping Stone Craft Kits for Kids
One of our favorite summertime activities for the girls is rock painting! Thanks to cute kits like this one, (and you can even pick up this set of paint pens to use too), this craft is relatively low-maintenance and waaaaaay less messy than the rock painting of own own childhoods haha!
The photo above is actually from London’s Frog Hunt birthday party last summer! The kids sat outside for nearly an hour, just decorating and painting rocks. The girls love to scatter them around their forts in the forest, or surprise friends by sneaking them onto their front porches.

The girls also did this cute stepping stone craft kit for the garden for Dave for Father’s Day last summer. They were THRILLED to see it once all the snow melted this spring. These are a cute way to jazz up your garden space, and would also make an awesome grandparent gift this summer.
Tie Dye Kit
This tie dye craft kit for kids almost made an afternoon of tie dying with the girls mess-free. Almost. It was super easy. The dye is power, and already in squirt bottles. I simply added water, and shook them to mix. The kit came with rubber bands and gloves, too.
The shirts the girls made from this kit might be our favorite tie dye we have ever done! They turned out SO good, and all the girls have been rocking their shirts non-stop:
