Color Crush: Coral

A few summers back, my mom was majorly obsessed with orange. She bought an orange purse, sandals, and her favorite shirt was an orange tank top. I teased her so much about her orange obsession. Well. Fast forward to this summer. I was filling a vase for the snap dragons I brought home from Trader Joe’s. Peyton said, “Oh mommy! I love those orange flowers! Everything you buy these days is orange!” I have to laugh, because a) I’ve become my mother, and b) Peyton has become me, totally calling her mom out!

But she was right. I’m currently typing this with coral nail polish on my hands and toes, while wearing a peach-tone shirt! So here’s a fun round-up of some of our current coral favorites:

I’m guilty of having an awkwardly long torso, so generally, small shirts are too short…but sizing up to a medium makes shirts wider, not longer (which is so annoying). My solution? Buying XS Gap maternity shirts #noshameinmygame, and there is currently the cutest peach color! I also love this top (with khaki shorts!), and this off the shoulder style!

I love the blanket I linked above for Addy. June & January makes swing dresses (which are currently on sale!), skirts, and tank jumpers in the same color – how cute?

I am also debating if I can revamp our bedroom without Dave noticing?? How fun are these bold sheets?

I’m chocking my obsession up to it being such a summer color 😉
