I was never a huge fan of “family photo sessions” – it seemed so staged and stressful, especially with toddlers. I met a random friend of a friend named Michelle one day at a zoo, kind of a funny story, but she ended up taking London’s newborn photos and she was amazing. One summer and one kid later, I felt the need to update some of our canvas prints throughout the house… but attempting to get a 5 year old, a toddler, and an 6 month old to participate actively in a photo seemed like a fail just waiting to happen. I had been seeing lifestyle family photography sessions popping up all over blogs and Pinterest – it seemed like the perfect solution to photography my wild bunch. I brought the idea to Michelle, and she was on board. To say I was pumped would be an overstatement! She sent me the finished photos (after a few anxious days of me waiting it out), and I am so excited to share a few with you! (and when I say a few, I mean, I am so sorry, but there are 10,000!)
I’ve already ordered some in canvases to replace older family photos. I use this site, they have the best prices!
Happiest of Mondays, friends! We have a busy week ahead, and our vacation is next week!!
