She loves to be in the middle of the action. As long as she can see everyone, she’s a happy camper. Addy is SUCH a good sleeper. She moved into her crib at 2 months old, and has been sleeping from 9:30 to 5ish! She takes a full bottle before bed, and then gets cozy in her swaddle.
She’s a mover and a talker! She has already mastered the art of the scoot. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve set her on her floor mat or a blanket, and turned around, only to find her completely off the blanket or facing the other way. Addy is constantly gurgling, cooing, and yelling. She has this “AHH!” noise she makes when she wants attention; it’s not necessarily a cry, it’s just a “hey, I’m still here” shout.
Adaline has found her hands and feet this past week, and it’s so fun to watch her go cross-eyed as she stares at her foot. Or watching her examine her hands from every angle, before stuffing them into her mouth.
In these warmer months, you can never have enough breathable blankets! Blankets for in the stroller, in her car seat, on the floor – everywhere. I am SO thrilled that sun bonnets for babies are back in style! I love the ones from Briar Handmade, but we have adorable ones from this shop too (and they have the cutest drool bibs!). Jacques the Peacock is a surviving toy from Peyton’s infancy. He’s still a favorite, and still squeaks! I would like to personally thank the inventor of the baby gym – without this thing, this blog post, last night’s dinner, and countless other things would not be possible. Addy could sit and try to kick the hanging toys all day!
Happy Thursday, friends!
