Our local zoo throws a fun “Zoo Goes Boo” party every year. We have never braved the crowds or cold, but we decided to give it a go this year. I am so glad we did! Both girls had an absolute blast (and we got to give the new stroller a dry run!)
Peyton was so bummed about having to wear a coat over her Alice in Wonderland dress, but going without a coat on this windy, 45 degree day was not an option. Fortunately, her dress had enough room to fit her coat underneath – mom win!
The zoo was completely decked out in spiderwebs with little ghosts and skeletons everywhere. There were tons of tables set up for the kids to “trick-or-treat” at. London was thrilled that one of the first tables was giving out rubber ducks. She picked a blue one, and was set for the rest of the morning!
The animals were out, there was live music, and hot cider for the grown ups, plus, I got to see the girls dressed up before Halloween, so overall it was a solid morning!
