Today is a big day in our house! It’s Peyton’s actual birthday! She is four!
It seems like we were holding her in the hospital, then blinked and here we are!
Our little girl is ALL girl. She loves pink and princesses. She loves playing dress up, and arts and crafts (hence her birthday party theme). She’s so independent, but loves to play shy in public. She’s adjusted so well to school, and officially wants to be a teacher! She surprises us more and more everyday, and we couldn’t be more proud of our little monster (because, let’s face it. She can still be a monster!)
In true little sister fashion, we had to steal some of big sis’ birthday thunder! Our little London is 7 months old today!
Lo is loving the helmet life, and (she hasn’t said this, but I can tell) thoroughly enjoys knowing she’ll have the most symmetrical head in the family. This girl is truly in her element outside. She loves the wind and the sunshine.
Hobbies include: trying to lick off sunscreen as I apply it, trying to eat wipes and wash cloths as I clean her. Basically, her hobbies include eating all non-edible items within reach.
Lo strongly dislikes bath time, fruit, and not being able to stand on her own.
She still doesn’t believe in nighttime, and is single-handily leading the crusade against sleeping (and according to the bags under my eyes, she is winning).
She is mostly obsessed with her big sister, and the feeling is totally mutual. I love to sneak up on them, holding has as Peyton is singing to her. Moments like that melt my heart. It quickly un-melts, however, because out of the gazillion toys we have in this house, they only ever seem to want the same one!!
These two ladies constantly test our patience and ability to survive on Red Bull, but I would’t trade them in for the world!! Happiest of birthdays to Peyton Elise, my big 4 year old!! And happy seven months to Little London Rose!!
